Eligible Programs
Admission Requirements
As an undergraduate student at NSU entering your senior year, you can begin an accelerated master’s program if you meet the following requirements:
Have completed ninety (90) undergraduate credit hours.
Have an undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
Submit two letters of recommendation (not required if GPA is 3.0 or above).
Note: No more than twelve graduate credits may be taken during your senior undergraduate year and count toward both your undergraduate and graduate degrees.
DEGREE PATHWAYS
Only certain degree pathways qualify for the accelerated (4+1) option at Northern State University. Students pursuing the following bachelor’s degrees are eligible to enroll in an accelerated program:
- Sport Performance and Leadership (MSEd)
- Banking and Financial Services (MS)
- Accounting Analytics (MS)
- Instructional Design in E-Learning (MSEd)
- Strategic Innovation and Leadership
- Special Education (MSEd)
