Do you love working with numbers? Through Northern State University’s Math program, you will learn quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills in small classroom settings, preparing you for the STEM disciplines, other quantitative careers such as actuarial science, or fields that require analytical thinking such as law.
As a math major at Northern State University, each of your upper-level math courses will provide you with the foundational knowledge needed to pursue further mathematical study or a quantitative career outside of mathematics. In addition, if you’re interested in applying the mathematical skills you’ll acquire from our program to other pursuits, Northern offers minors or double majors in related fields such as chemistry, finance, or pre-law.
